The inserts provide a stronger and more reliable connection between the printed part and other components, making them more resistant to wear and tear, especially when there is repeated use of the hardware on the parts (e.g unscrewing/screwing etc)
These soldering iron tips from CNC Kitchen are intended for use with CNC Kitchen Inserts but can be used with a variety of inserts in the specified size range. Though it is recommended to get the best out of the tips and the best performance of heat set inserts to use CNC Kitchens inserts (see HERE for more details)
