Why Hardened Steel Gear sets?
Our gear sets are precisely machined to prevent failure and maintain extrusion performance. With their clean cut teeth for filament grip and its hardened steel body for wear resistance against abrasive filaments, these gears have some fantastic price to performance ratio.
If you are wanting to grease the gears, we recommend either Superlube grease or a quality lithium base grease. Only a very small amount is needed and be sure to avoid contact with external parts of gears where filament may run.
