Why Hardened Steel & Copper?
Plated copper nozzles are the most cost effective way to increase the range of 3D printer filaments used on your 3D printer when wanting to print high temperature filaments. These nozzles are a direct OE aftermarket replacement with some of the best cost to quality ratio in the market.
This Temperature resistant nozzle was designed and developed to handle well above 500°c. The high temperature copper alloy can help conduct and hold awesome print temperatures unlike most nozzles and the nickel plating helps reduce adhesion of your filaments to the nozzle.
This nozzle has a hardened steel tip insert to be use with abrasive filaments and are made to be the all-in-one option that will outlast the printer itself.
K1 Nozzle vs E3D Volcano Nozzle
Please note that while this nozzle will work in place of a volcano nozzle, it is 1mm shorter on the threads (which will cause the heatbreak to sit 1mm further in the block) and the nozzle head is approx. 3mm longer than a E3D style nozzle.
Additional information
Hardened Copper nozzles, while an ideal option for everyday 3D printing, you may require to changing your printing temperatures. We recommend adding around 2-5°c when installing our nozzles.
