Please Note: Capricorn tubing length is not pre-cut to size. Approx size is 28mm for application but we highly recommend you measure the existing to prevent any issues (if upgrading, measure length protruding from heatbreak to match OE setup). Amount supplied allows for spares.
Capricorn tubing introduces less friction, less shrinkage, slipping, abrasion, accurate printing and high temperature resistance. Capricorn tubes are an ideal upgrade to increase the life of the PTFE tube in the hotend.
Cap tube is used for filament guide. Tube does not enter hotend as heatbreak it is all metal style.
Why a Bi-Metal Heat Break? (Titanium/Copper)
Using a titanium heat break can help with 3D printer performance, by helping keep the "cool side" of your hot end cooler which promotes clog/heat creep reduction. Titanium has the best strength to weight ratio of all known metals, giving you conference in its reliability.
Along with Titanium's ability to reduce heat entering the "cold zone" of the hotend, the chromium copper component help dissipate any heat quickly. Well-made Bi-Metal Heatbreaks a typically known for performance improvements and an increase in heat dissipation.
PLEASE NOTE: With any upgrade of this nature, you may need to adjust your temperatures after install as using different material and a ceramic hotend may change your filaments performance at your current settings.
